Fire Protection Design in Cayman
Corporate Electric is an authorised distributor of FIKE fire alarm systems.
The Corporate Electric team is fully qualified to:
- Design a fire suppression system to suit your requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings.
- Provide the hard data to give customers confidence of a well-designed fire suppression system.
- Install equipment using factory-trained technicians.
Clean Agent systems include:
- Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
- FE-227 EA
- Ecaro 25
- Water Mist
We provide Fire Suppression Testing in order to:
- Inspect and test to assure maximum system effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Fan-test protected enclosures to ensure the agent concentration meets the specified enclosure retention time.
Fire Suppression systems are governed by the codes under the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Fire Suppression Systems are commonly used on high-value equipment and use a combination of dry chemicals and/or wet agents to suppress equipment fires. Suppression systems have become a necessity to several industries as they help control damage and loss to equipment. Common means of detection are through heat sensors, wiring, or manual detection (depending on system selection).
Corporate Electric distributes Fike fire suppression equipment. Fike is a globally recognized supplier of products and services that protect people and critical assets from dangers such as fire, explosion and over-pressurization. Fike manufactures solutions for a wide variety of industries and offers products ranging from rupture discs and explosion protection systems to fire suppression systems and fire alarm panels.
Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems protect highly valuable and sensitive areas. Clean agent systems not only protect an enclosure from fire, they protect the contents as well – including people, documents, and equipment.
Clean agent systems work on class A, B, and C fires and react quickly to extinguish a fire at its earliest stages. Using early detection and rapid extinguishment, clean agent systems eliminate the fire, reduce the damage to equipment, and increase the safety of people in the fire area. Clean agents extinguish fires as a gas, which gives them the ability to permeate into cabinets and obstructed areas. It also makes them uniquely suited to protect the electronics hidden inside a piece of equipment, a likely place for a fire to start. By thoroughly flooding the area with a gaseous fire-fighting agent, even obscured or hard to reach fires are quickly extinguished, usually long before they can be seen. After extinguishing, the agent is readily ventilated from the room along with any by-products of the fire.
Unlike water, these fire-fighting agents are non-conductive and non-corrosive, making them safe to use on and around live electrical equipment. There is no residue to cleanup, no lingering materials to slowly degrade equipment, and no need for an expensive “Disaster Recovery” process. Operations are brought back online and put back in production in a very short time.
Most agents are also safe to use in occupied areas. These agents have undergone extensive toxicity testing to prove they are compatible with people.
