From the lessons learned from Hurricane Ivan, we proposed a building that would surpass all standard specifications and codes, one that would be category five rated with business continuity in mind. Paramount to its success would be the ability to assemble the very best construction team. As the building was equipped with 3-phase power and a complement of amenities including a generator, elevator, cistern and Disaster Recovery Suite we needed to rely on our electrical contractor to provide first class electrical and data cabling installations. As such, Corporate Electric was selected and placed as a nominated sub-contractor. The choice was easy as they had built a peerless reputation and had excellent software for job costing and manpower scheduling, all very important aspects when working with a fully tenanted building with strict delivery deadlines. The management and staff at Corporate Electric were very cooperative and provided exceptional communication and inspections scheduling as well as valuable input into design efficiencies prior to Building Control submissions.
