As a leading electrical contractor in the Cayman Islands, one of our core values is never to shy away from challenges. The year 2018 was a terrific one primarily because we rose to every challenge, turned problems into opportunities and grew together as a community.
We empowered, expanded, encouraged, and inspired but most of all we created a sense of comfort and safety when it came to electric concerns, with our trusted services and compassion. Although difficult to cover every event in a single post, we have compiled a list of notable highlights that were defining milestones for Corporate Electric in 2018.
26 New Employees
We welcomed 26 new employees to our ever-growing family to enhance our bandwidth and meet the workload in the Cayman Islands.
Building Expansion
We always strive to grow. And to accommodate our growth, we added a space of 1500 square feet to our headquarters.
Promotions
Our employees are our biggest asset, and we never fail to recognize their efforts. We promoted five of our employees – two apprentices to wiremen, two electricians to electrical supervisors, and one electrical supervisor to operations supervisor.
Training Courses
Training is essential to stay updated with the latest technology and to boost efficiency. We take it very seriously.
For this, we had sent multiple staff to attend eight different Chamber of Commerce training courses. Furthermore, we also sent seven of our employees to the U.S. for specialized training in generators, UPS, and fire alarm systems.
Assistance
Our team of experts successfully assisted three young Caymanians in obtaining their apprentice electrical licenses and two young Caymanians in their training in the MEPF design department.
When we reflect on our journey from humble beginnings, we feel extremely overwhelmed to see where we’ve come. Over the years, we have achieved many milestones, served Caymanians with unrivaled dedication, prudence, and sincerity, and developed many lasting relationships with our clients.
